Overview
Novello wanted surveyors to capture inspections on an iPad and have AI turn them into client reports. I designed the iPad app first, then the admin portal, the surveyor portal and a client portal where finished reports live.
iPad app
Surveyors use it all day, so it had to be fast and forgiving. They take photos, add voice or text notes to every entry, view floor plans and draw their own. Each entry goes through a custom AI system that builds the client's report.
Admin and surveyor portals
Admins create jobs, upload documents, add surveyors and assign work, which then shows up in the surveyors' iPad calendars. Surveyors get a web portal to review and edit the jobs they've submitted.
Client portal
Once a report is reviewed, it lands in the client's portal, where they can read it online or download a PDF.
Mobile client portal
Most clients check reports on their phones, so I designed a dedicated mobile version of the portal.
